A Japanese-Chinese family immigrates to the U.S. in pursuit of American dream. The family finds hardship as the father losses his job and sinks into depression. His depression leads to unknowing consequences for his daughter who finds solace in the arms of one of her schoolmates. Will the father realize the pain he has caused his family before it is too late?
