東京を拠点に活動する作曲家、延近輝之の約6年ぶりとなる新作が登場！今作の前編にあたる2011年リリースのセカンドアルバム「sonorité」は、今なお世界中で愛聴されており主要ストリーミングサイトでも爆発的な再生回数を誇る。本作は儚いピアノの旋律を軸に、優美なストリングス、音の断片や深い残響音までもが渾然一体となった、まるで「音響彫刻」のような凛とした美しい佇まいのアルバム。アルバムタイトルの「SUONO」とはイタリア語で「音」や「響き」という意味を持ち、本作の「SUONO」も「sonorité」と同様に、ピアノやストリングス、アンビエントな音色を中心に「音」や「響き」を重視しながらもバラエティに富んだ楽曲が揃っている。
Composer from Tokyo, Teruyuki Nobuchika’s new album “SUONO” is a sequel to his highly acclaimed 2nd album “sonorité”. Melancholic melodies of the piano, and elegant strings flows in and out of the album along with small fragments of sounds, yet focusing on textures of each tones and reverberations. One might call his music as a sound sculpture because of the beautifully and precisely shaped sounds.
